Established in 1897 at Třída Míru street, house nr. 61/62 owned by baron Kraus. In 1906 the factory was moved to Smilova street. The products such as ilustrated books, colour prints, shares, cheques with watermarks, painting reproductions and after the emergence of Czechoslovak Republic also the banknotes (10 Kč), had very high quality. Ater 1948 it was put under state control and renamed to National company Moravian printing works later as an independent National company Eeast-Bohemian printing works. In 2005 it was moved to a new production site at Sezemice as East-Bohemian printing works.
